Our angel graced this earth for six precious hours with her beauty and love.

Ella was with us for six hours before leaving for the arms of Jesus.  She shared her love, her courage, and her strength with so many before and after her birth, and her spirit will live with us forever.

Ella was named after two extraordinary women: Ella Horneck, Julie's maternal great-grandmother and Lorine Fullerton, Kevin's mother.  We selected her name shortly after receiving her diagnosis, because it was important to us that she easily find the comforting arms of her family in heaven.

During her brief stay with us, we were able to hold her, talk to her, and share our love.  Her daddy and her big brother Brian gave her a bath and comforted her when she cried.  She left us at 2:56 p.m., just six hours after coming into the world with her first cry.  We kept her through the night to say goodbye.  She stayed with her mommy and daddy for just one day, but she lives in our hearts forever.
